Catching Game Design
This project involved designing a unique and interactive mini-game for Mishloha.
Design Process
01
Main Character
Initially, I used the box from the Mishloha logo as the main character. However, I later pivoted to the digital wallet, a decision driven by the need to highlight Mishloha’s key feature-customers earning cashback credits on every order, which are stored in their app’s wallet.
02
Collectible objects
Credits: The main collectible item was represented by coins, symbolizing the cashback customers earn.
Foods: Alongside the coins, I introduced a variety of food items (e.g., sushi, burgers, and pizzas), reinforcing the app’s focus on food delivery.
03
Obstacles
Early Ideas: I initially considered using bomb icons as obstacles.
Final Decision: To add personality and humor, I designed two monster characters. Their colors were inspired by Mishloha’s competitors, adding a cheeky and competitive edge. I also considered using ghosts reminiscent of Pac-Man but ultimately chose a more original approach.
04
Background Design
The game’s environment featured an illustrated cityscape with restaurants, floating clouds, and a road along which the wallet moved. These elements created a lively, dynamic backdrop that reflected Mishloha’s brand identity.
05
Final Screen
At the conclusion of the game, I added text with a clear call-to-action and a prominent button encouraging users to download the Mishloha app. The message highlighted the app’s benefits, including fast delivery, cashback rewards, and a wide range of restaurant options.
